Message I'm running those on my new Work's that I just picked up my last trip to Japan. I'd say go a 235/40 on the 8.5's. I run a 235/40 on my rear 17x9's (from my 17" set) and a 225/40 on my 18x9 fronts (on my 18" set). On the rear 9.5's I'd run a 255/40. I'm running 245/40 on my 18x10.5's (I know most of you think it's crazy, but it's what I like.). Those are my suggestions for tire sizes in that tire that will give you added clearance and side wall strength but not be too stretched. You may want to end up running a small spacer in the rear to flush it more with the offset you've chosen..it will sit slightly inside.
